Aristotele University of Thessaloniki, Department of Civil Engineering (Greece) is specialised in hydrogeology and hydro-economics completed by the Bulgarian Academy of Science, Institute of Water Problems in water resource management.

University of Salzburg, Department of Geography and Geoinformation (Austria) is highly qualified in geo-information technology and management of regional data and is supported by Federal Institute of Agricultural Economics (Austria) a very competent subcontractor in the field of agricultural policy, agricultural economics and rural development.

Geo Group a.s. (Czech Republic) a private consulting firm is providing expertise in economic (hydro-) geology, environmental engineering and regional management.

InterConsult Group ASA (Norway) is also a highly qualified consultant with special emphasis on regional risk modelling and multivariate integration of regional data. Further research experience and know how in the field of ecology/biology the Institute of the Industrial Ecology Problems of the North, Apatity, Russia, provides.

University of Jena, Department of Geography (Germany) will contribute significantly in the fields of digital image processing, economic geography and integrated systems analysis.
