University of Salzburg Role DGGS covers a wide range of applications in relation to sustainable development and regional planning. It aims to integrate technology and generic models for the future management in cross border areas. DGGS will provide substantial research capacity to WP2, WP 4 and WP7 (WP2 and WP5-manager) especially where innovative approaches for environmental monitoring and assessment are concerned.
